EQUALITY is a conceptual collection that explores contrast, imbalance, and the shared humanity beneath visible differences. Created as a response to normalized division, the collection reimagines unity through form, color, and construction.
Inspired by the colors of revolution, yellow, black, and white reference the spectrum of human skin tones, while red acts as the unifying element—symbolizing blood as a shared foundation of life. Though appearances vary, what connects us beneath the surface remains the same.
Asymmetrical construction and varied proportions reflect imbalance, while differences in lengths and pattern layouts emphasize contrast. Structural elements such as straps, grommets, and rings serve as symbols of connection and bonding, suggesting that unity can exist through difference rather than uniformity.
